This is such a delightful take on such an old tale. While in Germany, our tour took us past the Grimm's old stomping grounds near Bremmen. I must admit that while I normally love Grimm, it was 8am on a Sunday morning, so I was not as excited about it as I should have been. But there were more than just two who weaved stories, and Bremmen is full of little places that pay homage to them.

I imagine they would delight in this tale as well.
