Thank you to all who read my entries and voted for me, with a special thank you for those who took the time to leave comments. I really enjoyed participating in LJ Idol, and I was constantly amazed at the quality of writing here.  I am grateful to my wife, halfshellvenus, for getting me involved and for her encouragement.

I am so impressed with how you and the others come up with such wonderful entries, week after week after week. I am certainly happy that you persuaded me to try this, and so are the Talking Crack, Mister Ed, the traitorous chair detective and all the others.
